I'm doing well. I've decided to try going lower carb/carbs in moderation for a bit. I'm not dealing well with the uber low cal right now. I'm so close to my goal & I don't want to blow it.

Blah

That damn week off messed me up a bit. But I'm ok. I'm wearing a pair of shorts I've had in my closet for over 2years & have never been able to wear. Even though I've gained back a bit of lbs I've still lost inches.

I'm feeling a bit off kilter today but I will be back on track by Mon.

18lbs.

WOW!!!!

I basically took a week off so that I didn't have to stress while on a trip & I still lost. I"m down 18lbs.

The 140's are in sight. I'm that much closer to my goal!!!!!!!!!

I bought a shirt yesterday that I just had to have but the only size they had was a small. I bought it with the expectation of having to modify it to be able to wear it. I don't have to. I can actually wear a size small shirt. I'm mourning the loss of the boobs a bit but I knew I'd lose those. :)

That was my weight this morning. I haven't seen that weight in ages. 16.4lbs gone in a little under a month. I'll take it. :)

I'm taking a short break/"planned interruption" this weekend. I plan to start right back up on Mon.

I'm hoping to continue until I've met my goal. Another 20 - 30lbs. I haven't decided exactly what my goal is 100%. I think I'm going to go with how I look more than what the scale says.

I've already lost 2 inches off my waist alone. I'd really love to have a 28" waist again.

The best thing I've seen so far is that my pooch/apron is disappearing. I can see my hipbones again.

13lbs

13lbs gone. Not just the weight but my clothes are fitting better & I'm losing inches. I'm impressed. I really didn't think this would work for me. Now I just need to work on my muscle tone to go along with the weight loss.

Not bad.

Day 15 down almost 11lbs. 10lbs in a little over 2 weeks. Not bad. If I can continue at this rate I'll be at my goal weight by the end of June or early July.

We will see.

Progress

So far so good.

12 days in & I've lost close to 10lbs. Definitely can't complain. Hopefully I'll continue on this trend.

I'm down 1lb which is not really good since I'm supposed to be gorging myself. Leave it to me to lose weight when I've eaten like a pig & most people would have gained.

Today is the first day

Today I'm embarking on a new diet for a new phase of my life.

I weighed in this morning at 171.6. :( Not a weight I ever wanted to see again. I'm hoping that by the end of these 6 weeks I'll be around 140. We'll see. I'll be happy if I can stabilize at 145. Either way I'll be doing another round if this works to try & get down into the 130's (I'd love to be in the 120's but I'm not sure if that's feasible).

So if this works I'll be in the 140's by June & the 130's by Sept.

Trying something new

I'm going to be trying something new to lose weight. I'm not quite ready to discuss what I'm doing because it's a bit controversial. We'll see how it works for me.

I have 3 acquaintances doing the program I'll be starting soon. 2 are doing quite well & 1 just started on the program so I'll be following her progress as well.

Depending on how well this works I maybe at my goal of 130-135 by the end of summer.

My first goal is to be at 145 by June 15th. If it works I'll start my second round on July 27 and hopefully by August 20th I'll be at 130 - 135lbs.

We shall see.

I've been sucking the last 2 weeks.

And now after spending 3 days visiting B in the hospital I've gotten sick.

I've got less than a month to get in shape for my 12k. I'm feeling screwed. No matter what I will finish it but I was hoping to get a better time than last year.

I wonder if walking around in 3+ inch heels for 6 hours yesterday & 2-3" heels for 3hrs today counts as exercise? If not I didn't get any exercise this weekend except walking around the convention.

A step in the right direction

Got out for a walk too. .91m Not far & definitely not fast but I'll get there. Eventually.
I got off my ass & quit making excuses. I did a short ab workout. It kicked my ass. I need to sort out the rest of the videos I downloaded so I can use them as well.

Not much but it's a start.

165.6 this morning. After a crap food weekend. I'm going to give AF leaving the credit. Didn't get any exercise this weekend & won't be getting any today.


Goal for this week is 5 miles of walking & 5 miles of bike riding. We'll see how that goes.

Also want to do the abs video I dled at least 2 times this week.

Better

4.28m bike ride @8.9mph. Sucking wind. Better distance, better pace. Sucking wind still.


Still need to get out & start walking/jogging.

Weekends & I suck

The rest of my weekend was crap. I ate like crap & didn't exercise at all. I kept saying, "after I get X done I'll exercise," yeah that never happened yesterday. But stuffing my face happened at every turn. I wasn't even hungry just bored, and the food was there.

I really need to be aware of my fluid intake. I've noticed on the days I don't drink enough I tend to over eat & make crappy food choices.

So the plan for today is to eat sensibly & if I must snack, snack on the healthy goodies I bought.


My mini goal is to be down below 160 by the end of April. I think that's doable. We'll see.

Added a 1.8m walk this evening. Crappy slow pace.

Wow I suck

at blogging.


Got a 3.6m bike ride in today. Avg. about 7mph. Would have gone longer & faster but the youngest was having trouble keeping up.

Hoping to get a walk in tonight. Need to find my pedometer.

I'm drinking my last soda until at least May. I keep saying I'm going to give them up & don't but I'm hoping to do it this time. Hopefully if I don't have any, by May I'll be ready to give them up completely. We'll see.
